I love going deeeeep. We are here to explore and make meaning of ourselves, our relationships and our worlds. I will listen deeply, and the journey of true healing is never easy. As Gabor Mate says, “When we flee our vulnerability, we lose our full capacity for feeling emotion”. The road to being a therapist has been one of deep yearning and ultimately led by everyday tiny miracles. From fashion designing and merchandise management to librarianship and to being a counsellor, my life has been rich with many learning experiences. But my most profound teachings came from being a mother to my two teenage girls. Caring for my mother during the last months before her death has also informed my understanding of grief, loss and death.
The counselling work I do now chose me through a series of synchronous events. I am truly humbled to be doing my soul’s work through the art of deep listening and storying influenced by Eastern mysticism and my Indian heritage.
